Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its growing home healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty and home health care industry for over 25 years and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes in the community. The position provides care to one patient for the complete shift, allowing the caregiver to become familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The CNA or HHA assists with daily living activities, comfort, mobility, and overall well-being to enhance the patient's quality of life. The schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with pay of $22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Florida State CNA certification or an HHA certificate from a 75-hour training program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Social Security card.
- Driver's license and auto insurance card.
- TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON within five years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring as needed to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Enhance patients' quality of life and build relationships through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
- Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
