About The Position

Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join its home healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty and home health care industry for over 25 years and focuses on delivering patient care and improving health outcomes in the community. The caregiver works with one patient for the complete shift, becoming familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role supports patients’ daily living activities, comfort, well-being, and quality of life. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, in Lake Placid, Florida. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Florida State CNA certification or an HHA certificate from a 75-hour training program.
Current CPR certification.
Social Security card.
Driver’s license and auto insurance card.
TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON within the last five years.

Responsibilities

Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems, and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Perform light housekeeping, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or meal preparation.
Build relationships and enhance patients’ quality of life through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
