Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to join its healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty health care industry for over 25 years and focuses on delivering patient care and improving community health outcomes. The caregiver works with one patient for the entire shift, becoming familiar with the patient, their needs, and their family life. The role includes supporting daily living activities, comfort, and overall well-being to enhance the patient's quality of life. This position is in Venice, Florida, for 6 hours per week in the morning, with no weekends. Pay is $22 per hour.
Requirements
- Florida state CNA certification or HHA certification with completion of a 75-hour HHA training program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Social Security card.
- Driver’s license and auto insurance card.
- TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON test within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Build relationships and enhance patients' quality of life through conversation, shared activities, and mental stimulation.
- Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
