Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide
About The Position
Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its home healthcare team. The company has provided private duty and home health care for over 25 years and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes in the community. The CNA or HHA works with one patient for the complete shift, becoming familiar with the patient's needs and family life. The role assists patients with daily living activities, supports their comfort and well-being, and helps enhance their quality of life. The listed schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at $22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Florida State CNA certification or an HHA certificate from a 75-hour training program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Social Security Card.
- Driver's License and auto insurance card.
- TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON test within 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems and report and discuss observations with a supervisor or case manager.
- Assist patients with lifting and transferring to support mobility.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Perform light housekeeping, such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
- Build relationships with patients through conversation and shared activities, and provide stimulation to support mental health and alertness.
- Monitor patients' pulse, temperature, and respiration.
