About The Position

Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its home healthcare team. The company has been a provider in the private duty and home health care industry for over 25 years. The role involves working with one patient for the complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. The CNA or HHA assists with daily living activities, patient comfort, and overall well-being to enhance quality of life.

Requirements

• Florida State CNA certification or an HHA certificate from a 75-hour training program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Social Security card.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance card.
• TB test: two-step test within the last 12 months or QuantiFERON test within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems and report observations to a supervisor or case manager.
• Assist patients with lifting and transferring as needed to support mobility.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or meal preparation.
• Build relationships with patients through conversation and shared activities, and provide stimulation to support mental health and alertness.
• Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration.
