About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one, personalized care to patients in their homes in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves working with a registered nurse and other clinicians to carry out individualized plans of care, support patients’ independence, and build meaningful patient relationships. The position is full-time, with visit rates of $20–$30 per visit. Scheduling is described as flexible to support work-life balance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Arizona.
• CPR certification; a demonstration course is required.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card.
• Compassionate nature and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a registered nurse and other clinicians to provide care based on an individualized plan of care.
• Record the patient’s health status and report it to the nurse.
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.
