About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurses Aide/CNA for a full-time role completing home health visits to clients throughout Alamance, Rockingham, and Guilford counties. The Home Health Aide is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the medical care needed to remain at home. The position offers flexible scheduling, a 1:1 patient ratio, and a comprehensive benefits package. Reliable transportation is required. BAYADA provides PPE, infection-prevention protocols, daily pre-screens, and monitoring of the COVID-19 outbreak. Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
Active, good-standing listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
Complete a criminal background check.
Meet all state requirements.
Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Provide light housekeeping.
Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
Assist with oral feeding.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
Assist with ambulation.
Provide medication assistance.
