Requirements
- Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification according to state requirements)
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care needs
- Basic knowledge of healthcare and resident care practices
Nice To Haves
- Previous senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Support residents during meals and encourage independence whenever possible
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Observe and communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely
- Assist with transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and safety practices
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional resident care
