About The Position
Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents in assisted living and memory care. The role supports residents’ quality of life and assists with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments. The position also includes helping with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. Cross-training in skilled nursing may be available if desired.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
- Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents daily.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transportation, and transfers.
- Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside areas, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothing is marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away.
- Notify a supervisor of residents’ clothing needs.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
- Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
