About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants at East Lake help foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, offering companionship and reassurance, and providing individualized care that values dignity and respect. This is a weekend option position.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
• Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
• Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment.
• Provide nursing services and assist residents with mobility.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
