About The Position

Casa de las Campanas is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role focuses on activities of daily living and restoring residents to a higher level of function, while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The position is on the PM shift and pays $24.50–$25.00 per hour.

Employees are expected to follow facility policies and performance standards, respond promptly to residents’ call lights, document required information accurately and on time, and act promptly when they identify safety hazards or emergencies. Employees must pass background checks, including a fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment-reference checks, as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some roles in the community require disclosure of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Requirements

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must pass required background checks, including a fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment-reference checks.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of CNA experience is preferable.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Promptly report resident changes and unusual occurrences to a licensed nurse.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Participate in care-planning conferences for assigned residents when requested.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from activities and programs.
• Accurately and promptly document required data using appropriate forms.
• Respond promptly to each resident’s call light.
• Follow established performance standards and facility policies and procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate appropriate action immediately.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents.
