About The Position

Silverado St. Charles is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory impairments. The role combines clinical care with relationship-building and aims to help residents live with comfort and joy while treating them with dignity, empathy, and purpose. The position is part-time on the PM shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• Completion of CNA training and a valid CNA certificate number.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the Silverado team.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
