Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA (PM)

About The Position

Silverado St. Charles is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with dignity, empathy, and purpose. The role combines clinical care with personal connection to enhance the lives of residents with memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s and dementia. The CNA works as part of a team, supports residents’ comfort and daily needs, and helps maintain care records and communicate changes to the nursing team. This is a part-time PM-shift position scheduled from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The anticipated pay range is $19–$21 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Completion of CNA training and a valid CNA certificate number.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the Silverado team.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
