About The Position

Casa de las Campanas is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role focuses on activities of daily living and restoring residents to a higher level of function, while helping maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The position is on the PM shift at an upscale senior living community in Rancho Bernardo.

Candidates must pass the required background checks, which include a fitness-for-duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references. Requirements

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of CNA experience is preferred.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities.
• Promptly report resident changes and unusual occurrences to a licensed nurse.
• Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Participate in care planning conferences for assigned residents when requested.
• Transport residents to and from activities and programs.
• Accurately document required information in a timely manner using appropriate forms.
• Respond promptly to residents’ call lights.
• Follow established performance standards and facility policies and procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate appropriate action immediately.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents.
