About The Position
BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to clients in their homes in the Tampa, Carrollwood, Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, Plant City, and surrounding areas. The role supports adults in living safely and independently at home, following a written plan of care from a registered nurse. Pay is $17–$19 per hour, with a variety of shifts available in 4–12-hour lengths. Team members provide activities of daily living support, household assistance, meal preparation and feeding, exercise assistance, ambulation support, and medication reminders. Requirements
- Minimum of one year of work experience.
- Have a current Home Health Aide certificate from a course of at least 40 hours, a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
- BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
- Level II Background Check.
Responsibilities
- Follow a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
- Provide personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals and assist clients with feeding.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist clients with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
