About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the MST department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Encino Hospital Medical Center is a 150-bed hospital in Encino, California, with a multidisciplinary staff of physicians and professional support staff. It provides inpatient and outpatient services to a diverse population.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
