About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to clients in their homes in Tampa, Carrollwood, Brandon, Sun City Center, Riverview, Plant City, and surrounding areas. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the caregiver provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role offers a variety of shifts lasting 4–12 hours, training, and support from a larger care team, including 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. Pay is $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of work experience.
Current Home Health Aide certificate from at least a 40-hour course, or a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

Follow a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Provide companionship to clients.
