About The Position
The CNA in the MST department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and assists in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Encino Hospital Medical Center is a 150-bed hospital in Encino, California. Its multidisciplinary staff includes 330 physicians and 520 professional support staff, and the hospital provides inpatient and outpatient services to a diverse population.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained as current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained as current per facility requirement.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
