About The Position
This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, supporting sterile processing, and aiding patients with special needs, including those with behavioral health conditions.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with medical record systems such as Point Click Care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Provide support to patients with special needs, including those with behavioral health conditions
Benefits
- Full-Time Status Premium: +$3.00/hour
- Part-Time Status Premium: +$2.00/hour
- Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour for the 2-10p, 3-11p and 11-7am shifts
