About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in Louisville City, Tennessee. The position serves a pediatric case and provides one-to-one care in the patient's home. The office is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a coverage area of Louisville, Tennessee. The schedule is part-time, including days and nights: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., plus Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing assistance with personal care and home management. Duties include helping with hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care tasks, as well as basic housekeeping and shopping. Documentation is completed using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
• Have CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
• Be able to use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, patient-centered care to clients in their homes.
• Provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
• Assist clients with personal care, including basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Assist with medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
• Assist with home management, including basic housekeeping and shopping.
