CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Part-Time Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role serves an adult patient and supports activities of daily living. The schedule is part-time, daytime hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday, based on patient needs. The posting specifies female-only coverage based on patient needs. The CNA provides care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, documents care using HomeCare HomeBase EMR, and assists with personal care or home management. The work may include personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, basic health-related tasks, housekeeping, shopping, and related household tasks. The position offers one-to-one care, flexible scheduling options, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
- Hold CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Be able to use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
- Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
- Perform medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
- Assist with basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home management tasks.
