CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Part-Time Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in Memphis, Tennessee. The role provides one-to-one care to an adult client, with support from a Registered Nurse and the broader team. The office is located in Cordova, Tennessee, and the coverage area is Memphis. The schedule is part-time daytime work on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The CNA assists with personal care and home management, including hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, basic health-related tasks, housekeeping, and shopping. Proper documentation is completed using HomeCare HomeBase EMR. The position offers independent work with team support, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
- CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered one-to-one care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
- Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
- Provide medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
- Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home management tasks.
