CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in Union City, Tennessee. The office is located in Martin, Tennessee, and the schedule is part-time, daytime hours Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling. The role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, with team support and supervision from a Registered Nurse. The CNA assists clients with personal care and home-management tasks, including basic hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and basic health-related tasks. Home-management duties may include basic housekeeping and shopping. The role includes documenting care in the HomeCare HomeBase electronic medical record system. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
- Hold CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, one-to-one care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using the HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home-management tasks.
- Help with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health-care-related tasks.
- Assist with home-management tasks such as basic housekeeping and shopping.
