About The Position

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care to a pediatric patient in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role provides one-to-one care in the patient's home, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and includes personal care and home management support. The schedule is full-time, daytime hours: Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
• Have CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
• Be able to use proper body mechanics while lifting and potentially lift up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Complete proper documentation using the HomeCare HomeBase electronic medical record system.
• Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
• Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Perform medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
• Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home management tasks.
