About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care to an adult client in Knoxville, Tennessee. This part-time daytime role involves providing one-to-one care and assistance with activities of daily living. The schedule is Monday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; female caregivers are required based on the patient’s needs.

The CNA provides care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, documents services in the HomeCare HomeBase EMR, and assists with personal care or home management. Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides compassionate support to patients, families, and caregivers in the home.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.
• CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification when required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
• Must be able to use proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Complete documentation using the HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
• Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
• Help with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care-related tasks.
• Perform home management tasks such as basic housekeeping and shopping.
