CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Part-Time Nights)
About The Position
Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care in patients’ homes in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This role serves a pediatric case and provides one-to-one support, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The schedule is part-time nights, Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The CNA assists clients with personal care and home-management tasks, including hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, basic health-related tasks, housekeeping, and shopping. The position uses HomeCare HomeBase EMR for documentation. Adoration describes its work as supporting patients, families, and caregivers with compassionate care in the comfort of home.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.
- CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Must be able to use proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home-management tasks.
- Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
- Provide medical monitoring and other basic health-care-related tasks.
- Perform home-management tasks such as basic housekeeping and shopping.
