About The Position

St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, provides long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services for older adults. The Certified Nursing Assistant position provides person-centered assistance to residents and supports their dignity, safety, and well-being. Opportunities are offered on a full-time, part-time, and PRN basis, with scheduling options that may include 8-hour shifts and weekend rotation as scheduled. PM and NOC shift availability may vary based on community needs. Pay is $19.30–$24.00 per hour, based on experience. A sign-on bonus is available.

Certified Nursing Assistants currently pursuing a nursing degree may have the opportunity to join the team as a Medication Administration Aide (MAA), gaining medication-administration experience while continuing their education. Benefits may vary based on employment status.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Hold active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
• Hold current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and room preparation, according to the care plan.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, respond promptly to their needs, report changes or incidents to the licensed nurse, and accurately document care each shift.
• Promote dignity, respect, resident rights, and effective communication.
• Follow safety, infection-prevention, universal-precautions, body-mechanics, and equipment-use standards.
• Participate in meetings, training, continuing education, on-call duties, and other assigned responsibilities.
