About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant for Wayne County’s 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The on-site facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has licensed nurses on every shift. CNAs provide residents with personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, and monitoring, serving as an important source of information for the nurse. This W-2 hourly role allows CNAs to choose their availability and pick up shifts through the BRIDGE App, with no minimum hours. Available eight-hour shifts are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, and 10:30 PM–7:00 AM; twelve-hour shifts may also be available. Shifts include eight paid hours and a half-hour unpaid meal break. The position pays $25.00–$28.00 per hour, with nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee’s rate. Additional offerings include reimbursement for CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an LPN or RN program. A $500 referral bonus is available for referring a nurse or aide. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid for by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift. If the facility cancels a confirmed shift two hours or less before it starts, the employee is paid for four hours. A Program Manager is available to assist with scheduling and pay questions.
