About The Position

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Long-Term Care team on a PRN basis. This role is ideal for CNAs looking for scheduling flexibility while continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of residents. As a CNA in our Long-Term Care department, you will provide hands-on care that promotes the comfort, dignity, and well-being of residents.

Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • At least one shift per quarter

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous CNA experience with positive professional references

Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Supporting residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
  • Assisting with meals, feeding, hydration, and resident comfort needs
  • Obtaining and documenting vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information as assigned
  • Observing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the licensed nurse
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
  • Contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Assisting with resident admissions, transfers, and other unit activities as needed
  • Collaborating with nurses and other team members to deliver high-quality resident-centered care
  • Utilizing downtime productively by stocking supplies, rounding on residents, and supporting unit needs
  • Other duties as assigned
