About The Position

Ennoble Care is a mobile primary care, palliative care, and hospice service provider whose clinicians provide in-home care for patients with chronic conditions and limited mobility. The company is seeking a compassionate, dedicated part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for its hospice services in the Dayton, Ohio region. The caregiver will care for a census of 5–6 patients and support their daily care needs. Ennoble Care describes its motto as “To Care is an Honor.”

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Meet the state’s training requirements.
• Have completed at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, including at least 16 hours of supervised practical training and at least 16 hours of classroom instruction.
• Have one year of experience as a CNA, hospice aide, or home health aide.
• Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance.
• Communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Disclose any current or future need for employment-based immigration sponsorship before an offer of employment is extended.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a census of 5–6 patients.
• Provide or assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth care, skin care, and nail care.
• Assist with toileting, positioning, and transfers, including frequent turning and positioning of bedbound patients.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and range-of-motion activities taught to the patient and hospice aide by the Hospice Nurse.
• Perform light housekeeping in the individual’s personal unit or room, including changing bed linen and doing the patient’s laundry.
• Feed patients and assist them with meals.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to the Nurse.
