About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support its hospice patients in the Cincinnati, Ohio region. The caregiver is responsible for a census of 5–6 patients and provides or assists with personal care, activities of daily living, meals, mobility, prescribed exercises, and light housekeeping. The caregiver reports changes in patients’ conditions to the Nurse.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Meet state training requirements.
• Have completed at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, including at least 16 hours of supervised practical training and at least 16 hours of classroom instruction.
• Have one year of experience as a CNA, hospice aide, or home health aide.
• Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance.
• Communicate well verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mouth, skin, and nail care.
• Assist with toileting, positioning, transfers, and frequent turning and positioning of bed-bound patients.
• Assist with prescribed exercise and range-of-motion activities taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Perform light housekeeping in the patient's personal unit or room, including changing bed linens and doing the patient's laundry.
• Feed patients and assist them with meals.
• Report changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.
• Care for a census of 5–6 patients.
