Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
About The Position
American Senior Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) at Hillcrest Village. CNAs help foster a warm, supportive, homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living and providing companionship and reassurance while respecting each resident’s dignity and providing individualized attention. The position is listed as full-time, with evening shifts available. Team members work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care and are expected to demonstrate the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Requirements
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Ability to provide nursing services requiring stamina, strength, and endurance.
- Supportive presence and ability to create a comforting, engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Ability to collaborate with nursing and other facility teams.
- Ability to work toward shared care goals and communicate interpersonally to support a respectful, positive work environment.
