About The Position
Meritan, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Home Health team in Memphis, Tennessee. This regular full-time, per-visit position provides basic care and assists patients with activities of daily living under the direction of a registered nurse. The role offers flexible scheduling, consistent work, and the opportunity to focus on one patient at a time. The position includes travel to patients and uses an online clinical system accessible through a company-issued tablet or smartphone. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is currently offered. Meritan is a Tennessee-based health, human, and social services nonprofit that provides in-home services to elderly and disabled people so they can remain independent. The agency is ACHC accredited and CAPABLE certified, and describes its staff as experienced, long-term employees. The position may involve occasional weekend and holiday availability.
Requirements
- Hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have at least six months of work experience in a supervised setting; healthcare facility experience is preferred.
- Have interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have organization and time-management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- Have schedule flexibility.
- Be available to work weekends and holidays occasionally.
