About The Position
Meritan, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join its Home Health team in Memphis, Tennessee. This regular full-time, per-visit position assists with daily clinical activities under the direction of a registered nurse. The role offers consistent work, schedule flexibility, and the opportunity to focus on one patient at a time while supporting vulnerable community members in their homes. The posted hourly rates vary depending on the type of visit. The position currently offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Meritan is a Tennessee-based health, human, and social services nonprofit serving the Memphis and Shelby County areas. Its clinical system is online and accessible through company-issued tablets or a smartphone. Meritan is ACHC accredited and CAPABLE certified, and maintains infection-control measures and provides personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- At least one year of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organization and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- Schedule flexibility.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays occasionally.
