About The Position

Comfort Keeper is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home caregiving in the Little Falls area. The role helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The wage begins at $18 per hour, or $20 per hour for a Certified Nursing Assistant. Employees are eligible after five months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy. Part-time and full-time hours are available depending on availability.

Requirements

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and three years of driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance; must be comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer service excellence and professional boundaries are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens; dusting, mopping, changing linens, vacuuming, doing laundry, and taking out garbage.
• Plan and prepare meals, including cooking and baking.
• Provide conversation and companionship through interactive caregiving.
• Assist with mobility, including use of transfer tools or equipment.
• Assist with medication.
• Provide dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with the Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shifts and care provided.
