About The Position
Pomeroy Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide care in its skilled nursing facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting care, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment while building relationships with residents and their families.
Requirements
- Current and valid Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
