About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant at St. Vincent Medical Group in the OBGYN department. The position is full-time, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient support, assist providers with examinations, measure vital signs, and execute ordered treatments and procedures. They will also be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, maintaining a clean environment, and managing basic materials ordering and stocking. Accurate documentation is crucial, including interviewing patients for medical history, charting information, and transcribing provider orders for lab tests, radiology, and medications. Additionally, the role involves front-office management, handling clerical duties such as answering calls and maintaining organized patient records.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
