About The Position
Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests. Carry out related clerical tasks, including preparing charts, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitor clinic flow. Some Saturdays are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Current Medical Assistant–Certified designation from the Washington Department of Health (DOH). Current Washington State interim certification may be substituted for up to 12 months from its issue date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Current National Medical Assistant Association certification; eligible for a premium.
- Current medical assistant experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and/or medical screening and immunization.
