About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant in the Sleep Medicine department at St. Vincent Medical Group in Carmel, IN. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The Certified Medical Assistant will provide direct patient support by assisting providers with examinations, measuring vital signs, and executing ordered treatments and procedures. They will also manage clinical and administrative flow by preparing treatment rooms, maintaining a clean environment, and stocking materials. Accurate documentation is crucial, including interviewing patients for medical history, charting information, and transcribing provider orders. Additionally, the role involves front-office management, such as answering calls and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Certified MA with at least one year's experience with medical office.

Nice To Haves

Sleep medicine experience is a plus.
