About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Multidisciplinary Clinic. This role operates on a Monday - Friday schedule from 8am-4:30pm. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in patient care by assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring sterile and organized treatment rooms. They will also be responsible for streamlining clinic workflow by interviewing patients, taking vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories. Additionally, the role involves transcribing provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, and managing administrative duties such as medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
