About The Position
Asbury Chandler Estates is hiring a Certified Med Tech to assist residents with daily living activities while preserving their dignity and independence. The role includes safely and accurately administering prescribed medications in multiple forms, following a strict three-step verification process to confirm the resident, medication, and dosage and timing, and ensuring medication labels are compliant to prevent errors. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols are important. Availability every other weekend and on holidays is required. The listed schedules are full-time: 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. with a $0.75 shift differential, or 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. with a $1.50 shift differential. The posting lists a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and compensation of $18.00–$19.50 weekly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work every other weekend and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course.
- One year of experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry.
