About The Position

BridgeWater Assisted Living is seeking Certified Med Techs to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program and Memory Care with activities of daily living. The role supports residents in leading a quality life while maintaining their dignity. Applicants must have caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board-approved caregiver training course or be willing to obtain it within 90 days of hire. Shifts available are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board-approved caregiver training course, or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a related field is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a senior living community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, including height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and support medication management in accordance with community policies.
• Safely transfer and reposition residents and assist with ambulation as needed.
• Deliver basic skin care and support residents’ comfort and well-being.
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care programs as directed.
• Assist with and contribute to resident assessments and individualized care plans.
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
• Follow individualized care schedules and service plans established by supervisors.
• Offer emotional support and encourage social engagement to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Promote and protect resident rights, ensuring dignity, respect, privacy, and independence.
• Monitor for and report signs of abuse, neglect, or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with community standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
