About The Position
Asbury Chandler Estates is hiring a Certified Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and availability every other weekend and holidays. Medications must be administered safely and accurately in accordance with prescriptions, with a strict three-step verification process to confirm the resident, medication, and dosage and timing. Medication labeling requirements must be followed to help prevent errors. Full-time schedules are available for 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. with a $0.75 shift differential, 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. with a $1.50 shift differential, or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The stated pay rate is $18.00 per hour; compensation is also listed as USD 18.00–USD 19.50 weekly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Availability every other weekend and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course.
- One year of experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry.
