Home Health Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/CNA)
About The Position
Mission Healthcare is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/CNA) to provide in-home support to clients in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou Counties. The role is part-time, with a schedule of three days per week, Monday through Friday. The starting pay is $25.00, depending on experience. The aide supports clients with personal care, household tasks, mobility, companionship, medication reminders, and prescribed exercise routines. The role also includes observing and reporting changes in clients’ health and documenting the care provided. Requirements
- Valid state CNA and CHHA certifications.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward clients.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health or a similar setting is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Assist with mobility and transfers while ensuring client safety.
- Provide medication reminders and support clients with prescribed exercise routines.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
