About The Position

Mission Healthcare is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide to provide in-home support to clients in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou Counties. The role involves assisting with personal care and daily activities, offering companionship, supporting mobility and prescribed routines, and observing and reporting changes in clients’ health. The schedule is part-time, three days per week, Monday through Friday. The pay range starts at $25.00, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Valid CNA and CHHA state certification.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward clients.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health or a similar setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
• Assist with mobility and transfers while ensuring clients’ safety.
• Provide medication reminders and support clients with prescribed exercise routines.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
