About The Position
Mission Healthcare is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes in the Palm Desert, California territory. The role includes helping clients with daily activities, providing companionship, assisting with mobility, and monitoring and reporting changes in health status. The position is listed as Monday through Friday and per-diem, with a pay range of $24–$27 per hour depending on experience. Requirements
- Valid CNA and CHHA state certification.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward clients.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health or a similar setting is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Assist with mobility and transfers while ensuring clients’ safety.
- Provide medication reminders and support clients with prescribed exercise routines.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate client records.
