About The Position

Alvita Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide compassionate in-home care to clients throughout Monmouth County, New Jersey. Multiple client locations are available, with opportunities for convenient commutes and flexible scheduling. Alvita Care is a mission-driven home healthcare and personal care agency with four branches and more than 500 caregivers. Its services include in-home personal care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, palliative and hospice care, and geriatric care management. The agency’s clients are private-pay; it does not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

HHAs may assist clients with activities of daily living, personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and medication reminders, while providing companionship and support. The agency offers day, night, and weekend shifts, as well as full-time and flexible schedules. Drivers are a plus, and the posting notes that the position requires a driver.

Requirements

• Must have a valid HHA certificate.
• Must have a COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Must have updated medicals and vaccinations, or be willing to obtain them.
• Must have completed a drug screening or Habituation Form.
• Must demonstrate a reliable and compassionate approach to client care.
• A driver is required, according to the job title.
