About The Position

Alvita Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care and support to clients and their families throughout Somerset County, New Jersey. Multiple client locations are available, offering opportunities for convenient commutes and flexible scheduling. The agency provides in-home personal care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, palliative and hospice care, and geriatric care management. Its clients are private-pay; it does not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

The role may include helping clients with activities of daily living and personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and support. Day, night, and weekend shifts are available, along with full-time and flexible schedules. Drivers are a plus, and the position includes nurse supervision and 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

• Must have a valid HHA certificate.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have an approved exemption.
• Must have updated medicals and vaccinations, or be willing to obtain them.
• Must have completed drug screening or a Habituation Form.
• Must have a reliable and compassionate approach to client care.
