About The Position
ANDRITZ Canada, a leader in hydroelectric turbine generator unit design, is seeking passionate mechanical engineers for its Early Career Advancement Program – Hydro (CAP-Hydro). This program aims to launch careers in hydroelectricity, contributing to sustainable technology and maintaining Canadian expertise. Participants will gain unique expertise through support from experienced engineers, working on innovation projects relevant to the global energy transition. The role involves contributing to the development of sustainable technology and upholding Canada-based expertise in the field of hydroelectricity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering
- 1 to 5 years of experience in engineering
- Keen interest in innovation and large-scale projects
- Interest in hydroelectricity and its contribution to the energy challenge
- Legal status to work in Canada
Nice To Haves
- Experience in design, site installation, and integration projects
- Experience in turbines, alternators, auxiliary services, or dam gates engineering
Responsibilities
- Rotations in design, site installation, and integration projects
