About The Position

ANDRITZ Canada, a leading global designer of hydroelectric turbine-generator sets, is seeking passionate mechanical engineers for its Career Acceleration Program (CAP) in Hydro. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the same field
• 1 to 5 years of experience in engineering
• Strong interest in innovation and large-scale projects
• Interest in hydroelectricity and its contribution to the energy challenge
• Legal status to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Design of penstocks and valves
• Rotations in design, site installation, and integrator projects
• Engineering in turbine, alternator, auxiliary services, or dam valves
• Participation in large-scale engineering projects
• Learning the intricacies of hydroelectric engineering
• Discovering construction sites in urban, suburban, and remote territories
